Background
BERI S.A. was founded in 1966. Its clients are mostly banks and companies conducting international business. The firm offers multiclient and proprietary services. The accuracy of its forecasts has enabled BERI S.A. to establish a strong worldwide client base.
The firm's headquarters is in Friday Harbor, State of Washington, U.S.A. Research, editing, and production of reports are done in several locations. Dr. F.T. Haner,
founder and Honorary Chairman, pioneered research in assessing and predicting future conditions worldwide.
Mr. Saruhan Hatipoglu
re-joined BERI S.A. in 2004. He is currently the Managing
Director.
Information Systems
The company receives hundreds of publications from around the world in several languages through the internet. The analysts using the information are professionals who also have international networks of sources for intelligence on countries.
BERI S.A. has two permanent panels of experts that provide country ratings and qualitative observations. One panel judges political conditions in countries, and the other offers perspective on the operating environment.
